Our aim
Heron & Salt wants this site to be usable by everyone, and we build it to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.2 at level AA.
What we have done
Every page can be used with a keyboard alone, and the element you are on is always visibly marked. Text and background colors are checked for contrast. Images carry descriptions, and images that are decoration are marked as such so a screen reader skips them.
If your device is set to reduce motion, the site does not animate. Forms have visible labels and explain what went wrong next to the field that needs changing.
Known limitations
The booking step is provided by resy and runs inside their own software. We do not control it and cannot guarantee it meets the same standard. If it gets in your way, book by telephone and we will take care of it.
Where a menu uses short letters for dietary information, the full wording is given on the letter itself and in a list at the foot of the menu.
